Assistant Concept Designer - Men's: Nordstrom Product Group - (Hybrid, Seattle)

Nordstrom is a leading fashion retailer, and they are seeking an Assistant Concept Designer to assist in the development of Brand Concepts for multiple Nordstrom Made Brands. The role involves supporting the design team with project management, trend research, and collaboration with cross-divisional partners to inform design deliverables. Responsibilities Assist the Design team prepare for key milestones by monitoring timelines for deliverables and scheduling review sessions Assist Design Director with buy meeting preparation Support the Design Director with preparation of the trend report Plan, facilitate and/or execute assigned design projects Collaborate with design team and cross-divisional partners to provide insights, inform deliverables and support design Research trends and competitive brands Skills Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Fashion Design, Textiles or a related field 1+ year of relevant experience with design and conceptual skills Strong knowledge of textiles, artwork techniques & fabric Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently or as a team Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Miro, MS Office suite, and ability to hand-sketch.
