Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting vehicle issues, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring quality repairs that meet factory and local recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer vehicle concerns using the latest technical tools and resources
  • Maintain courteous and professional interactions with all customers
  • Assist as a secondary greeter in the Service Drive area when possible
  • Stay current with technical publications, Service Communication, and Asist terminal operations
  • Ensure vehicle repairs are completed safely, correctly, and on the first visit
  • Address all original customer concerns before recommending additional services
  • Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs according to local and factory guidelines
  • Return vehicles clean or cleaner than when received
  • Participate in factory or in-house sponsored training programs
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and attach necessary shop forms
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain punctuality, a clean uniform, and a professional appearance

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a signing bonus of up to $6,000 for qualified technicians. Our benefits package includes competitive salary, health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and a professional work environment designed to support your success and career advancement.

Qualifications

  • Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding performance goals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and high energy
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical instructions
  • Good judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record

Education and Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ASE certification or demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Technical or trade school degree preferred
