Car Wash Manager

Dave’s Express Care Carwash has an immediate opportunity for a Full Time Manager. The Manager will help drive car wash operations, including managing staff, assisting customers, and processing high quality clean cars in a full-service wash environment. .We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to manage in a fast-paced, indoor/outdoor environment.

The Site

Manager is responsible for directing the activity of the car wash location through leading and supporting a site team that delivers a quality customer experience. We are looking for a team player and a leader.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Direct and supervise employees
  • Ensure adherence and compliance with all established policies, procedures and processes
  • The ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
  • Serve as the responsible party for the customer, equipment, and employee issues that arise
  • Assist the training supervisor with training new and existing employees on safety, quality, and standard operating procedures for their assigned area
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action to employees as needed to maintain standards and improve performance
  • Perform all essential duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job descriptions for all car wash jobs/employees
  • Monitor employees hourly to ensure labor goals are met
  • Works with the rest of the staff on a regular basis to provide excellent customer service
  • Contributes to building of team environment
  • Maintain and upkeep a neat, clean and organized overall site appearance
  • Manage overall vehicle flow and production in car wash, ensure car wash quality standards.
  • Execute open & close duties and follow designated procedures
  • Understand the POS system and wash tunnel equipment
  • Be able to accept payments and make necessary changes on the cash register
  • Keeps records of daily receipts and coupons
  • Be able to prepare and drop off bank deposits
  • Inspects car wash equipment for wear and tear, perform light maintenance of car wash equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Leadership skills and a take charge attitude to manage and grow the business
  • Outstanding people skills with the ability to build relationships and produce a strong Team environment
  • Customer focused with a proven background of exceeding Customer's expectations
  • Energetic and friendly personality with the desire to help people
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Takes great pride in their work with the ability to solve problems and make sound decisions

  • Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings and weekends.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a customer service industry
  • Proficient with computers, previous POS systems/cashier experience preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly
