Together, we strive for culinary excellence and unmatched dining experiences, whether in our restaurants or at home.<br><br>The Senior Analyst plays a critical role within Commercial Finance, acting as a commercial thought partner to the UK business, with a primary focus on the Dine In channel. This role owns the weekly and monthly trading rhythm for Dine In, delivering insight that connects performance drivers (Sales, Transactions, AOV, Mix) to profitability outcomes. The role also builds robust business cases for promotions and loyalty initiatives and supports pricing and channel profitability analysis across the wider business.<br><br>A key focus is balancing customer competitiveness with sustainable profitability, improving franchisee economics while supporting delivery of internal IOM targets. This role requires strong commercial judgement, analytical rigour, pace and ownership, alongside the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.<br><br><br><ul><li> Dine In Trading & Performance Rhythm (Approx. 50%)</li><li>Own the Dine In weekly trading cycle, including performance commentary and clear insight on drivers (traffic, conversion, ticket, mix, promo response, daypart, day-of-week).</li><li>Lead the monthly Dine In performance cadence, translating trading outcomes into a clear P&L narrative from Sales → Gross Margin → Labour/Semis → EBITDA.</li><li>Track and evaluate effectiveness of key initiatives (media changes, promotional coverage, menu updates, operational initiatives), providing clear “so what / now what” recommendations.</li><li>Partner with Operations and Marketing to identify and quantify growth opportunities (daypart expansion, attachment rates, upsell, experience-led initiatives).</li><li>Build and continuously improve simple, insight led Dine In dashboards and KPI views (focus on clarity over volume).</li><li> Promotions & Loyalty Business Cases (Approx. 30%)</li><li>Develop robust financial business cases for promotions, value propositions, CRM/targeted offers and loyalty initiatives, including:</li><li>Conduct post-campaign evaluations and capture actionable learnings to improve future investment decisions.</li><li>Partner with Marketing, CRM and Digital teams to define clear success metrics and measurement frameworks.</li><li>EBITDA impact and sensitivity analysis</li><li>Margin flow-through and cost-to-serve</li><li>AOV and mix impact</li><li>Incrementality vs cannibalisation</li><li> Pricing & Channel Profitability (Approx. 20%)</li><li>Support pricing analysis across all channels, with a Dine In lens (price ladders, bundles, entry price points, promotional architecture).</li><li>Provide recommendations that balance value perception, competitive positioning and profitability.</li><li>Analyse end-to-end profitability from Sales through to EBITDA.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve franchisee profitability, particularly those influenced by pricing and promotional design.</li><li> Planning & Forecast Support (As Required)</li><li>Support the commercial planning cycle, including forecast inputs, risks and opportunities, and key assumptions.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Working Relationships<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Commercial Finance & Financial Control</li><li>Operations</li><li>Marketing</li><li>Digital & eCommerce</li><li>Franchise Team</li><li>UK Leadership Team<br><br><br></li></ul>This role is based at our Restaurant Support Centre in Central London, a minimum of 2 days per week in the RSC is required.
