Events Planning Franchise Specialist

Job Description • Support the site search process and preparation of options for presentation to brand leadership. • Support event activities for industry events including pre-planning and onsite delivery. • Working closely and in collaboration with event and brand leadership to drive all event strategies through management of detailed project plans, program of events and budget guidelines. • Track and maintain detailed event budgets, including invoice management and budget reconciliation, in collaboration with managers. • Execution of contracts for event vendors including payment submission. • Logistics management of external vendors ensuring best quality, consistency, and execution of brand image. • Creation and management of venue and audio-visual specs. • Support and assist registration processes before and during all events. • Work closely with the Communications team, following the communications plan, to drive event attendance and provide communications details. • Support and assist the creation of and updates to the event websites and apps with event details to drive network attendance and engagement in coordination with Manager, Operations. • Manage the housing process and management of room blocks in conjunction with registration. • Work on food and beverage selection while adhering to negotiated budget allotment. • Work closely with the Client Success team on the logistics for the learning breakout sessions. • Drive the signage plan for events working with the marketing team and manager on the design process and managing all details of the order and on-site installation. • Support the development of reception themes, coordinating specialty décor, entertainment, and creating wow moments for the event attendees. • Coordinate ordering and shipments of assets, promotional items and collateral needed for events. • Assist with developing event overviews and debriefs, including detailed financial recap and follow-up learnings and strategies. • Manage virtual events through Teams application, on occasion. • Support of the full Anywhere Franchise Brands Events Team on events and projects as needed. • Create and maintain an enthusiastic, cooperative, professional, and teamwork-structured environment. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience and demonstrated end-to-end event planning lifecycle expertise, from concept development through execution and post-event evaluation. • Bachelor's degree preferred • Project management experience, with effective time management and multitasking abilities. • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and C-suite leadership. • Collaborative vendor management experience. • High energy level and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite or Google Suite, knowledge of Monday.com a plus. Experience using Cvent is strongly preferred. • Ability to travel approximately 10–20% annually, including overnight and multi‑day trips. • Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
