Resume</p><p></p><p><b>*<span>Failure to include these documents by the first consideration date will result in the disqualification of your application.</span></b></p><p></p><p><b>Accountabilities:</b></p><ul><li>Manages the Return of Title IV process by reviewing student withdrawals, performing federal aid calculations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain institutional integrity.</li><li>Administers and reconciles state financial aid programs by overseeing the Higher Education Aids Board (HEAB) programs, resolving funding issues and ensuring accurate distribution of aid.</li><li>Oversees public and private funding programs by coordinating aid disbursement, troubleshooting eligibility concerns and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.</li><li>Collaborates with institutional stakeholders by working with relevant units to reconcile funding removals, troubleshoot system issues and streamline financial aid operations to ensure fiscal accountability and accurate transaction entries.</li><li>Ensures compliance with financial aid regulations by testing system updates, identifying potential impacts on processes and recommending necessary adjustments.</li><li>Resolves complex financial aid inquiries by responding to escalated concerns via phone, email and written correspondence to provide clear and accurate information to students.</li><li>Contributes to an inclusive, equitable and supportive environment where everyone at the institution feels valued, respected and empowered to reach their full potential.</li><li>Adheres to college policies, directives and work rules while maintaining a commitment to the college’s mission, vision and values.</li><li>Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of federal, state and institutional financial aid regulations.</li><li>Knowledge of financial aid systems, reporting requirements and regulatory updates.</li><li>Skill in analyzing and calculating financial aid awards.</li><li>Skill in data analysis and interpretation.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to resolve complex financial aid inquiries by providing clear and accurate information.</li><li>Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment.</li><li>Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Minimum Requirements:</span></b></p><p><b><span>Education:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience</span>.  *Experience used as an equivalent of an educationa<span>l requirement is in addition to any experience required by the position.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>Work Experience: </span></b></p><ul><li><span>0-2 years of relevant work experience</span></li></ul><p><b>Preferred Work Experience:</b></p><ul><li><span>Direct financial aid experience </span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Madison College does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position.
