Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing? 

You'll be mobile, working within Sub-Stations and exposed to a variety of electrical equipment and deliveries from maintenance tasks to installations, all while closely following our safe task instructions.
 
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team on site, takes pride in managing their own workload, and values being part of a supportive team while keeping the customer happy through excellent communication and a proactive approach.

What you’ll bring

  • Do you have a Level 3 Electrical NVQ (or non UK equivalent)?
  • Have you gained 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)?
  • Have you got proven experience in electrical installation, utility sector, data cables, or high-voltage environments? This is preferred, but not essential.
  • Do you have a good understanding of electrical safety and safe systems of work?
  • Do you hold a Full UK driving licence?
