We are seeking a motivated, creative and practica International Facilities Designer Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to assist with the design of energy and cost-efficient architectural remodel projects of the International Department and support the development of new design tools such as REVIT and Enscape. This critical project aims to modernize our blueprints with new technology and deliverables to ease the understanding of contractors, reduce time and errors due misinterpretations of projects and make the building’s energy efficient to optimize operational costs in a challenging market.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a remodel project using Revit and Enscape as minimum tools.
  • Leverage and learn the current designs and model up to Revit.
  • Review existing designs to identify trends and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements inside the most up to date projects.
  • Design must consider Energy efficiency materials and concepts.
  • Finish a project with all deliverables documented for permanent and future implementation.

Requirements

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Currently a junior or senior at an accredited university or Master's degree program
  • Pursuing a degree in Architecture bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge in Revit (5 years minimum).
  • Rhino, BOM and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, Enscape, and V-Ray Rendering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
