<p><b>TITLE:</b></p>Medical Information Scientist<p></p><p></p><p><b><span><span>POSITION SUMMARY:<span> </span></span></span></b><span><span><span>The Medical Information Scientist will be responsible for providing non-promotional scientific, educational, and research support for the Indivior addiction treatment portfolio, specifically involving buprenorphine, in the respective territory. The Medical Information Scientist position is a field-based member of the Medical Affairs team. The Medical Information Scientist should be highly trained in a health care field and well-versed in clinical science to deliver cutting edge data and technical/practical education to Thought Leaders and Health Care Professionals (HCP) practicing Addiction Medicine.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>The Medical Information Scientist will interact with Addiction Thought Leaders in the region including therapeutic area HCPs affiliated with key medical centers and addictions treatment programs. The Medical Information Scientist will respond to medical questions regarding Indivior products as appropriate.  The Medical Information Scientist, upon request of management, may be involved in presentations to managed care organizations, formulary decision makers and regional medical advisory boards.  The Medical Information Scientist will serve as a bridge between regional and national HCPs and Indivior Medical Affairs colleagues and will provide customer insights that facilitate the development of brand medical strategies as appropriate. The Medical Information Scientist will support Indivior sponsored research and investigator initiated trial (IIT) activities in the region, as determined by the Medical Affairs leadership and in accordance with policy.</span></span></span></p><p></p><p><b><span><span>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</span></span></b></p><p><span><span>The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:</span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop and maintain scientific relationships with external experts to gather insights on the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and on the needs and treatment patterns of addiction health care providers.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Increase Indivior’s visibility among leaders in the therapeutic field of Substance Use Disorders.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Respond appropriately with the most accurate data to unsolicited questions and requests posed by physicians for compounds in development and approved products/brands in accordance with the Medical Information Scientists</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Engage physicians participating in clinical studies with research discussions; identify potential new clinical sites and principal investigators as requested;<span> </span></span></span></span><span><span>collaborate with clinical team and CRA's to coordinate educational and research support for sites/investigators participating in Indivior’s clinical trials.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span><span>Provide medical support to internal teams including other field medical (MSTAs), Managed Market account managers, and Commercial as necessary.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Maintain clinical expertise through ongoing education including attendance at relevant symposium, scientific workshops, and review of key journals; participation in required internal training, presentations and journal clubs.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Adhere to regulatory and compliance guidelines and company policies in all aspects of scientific dissemination of information including responses to unsolicited requests for medical information;
