- Digital Brands: BBC Studios Digital Brands are a digi‑publisher, operating a global footprint of 90+ digital channels across all major social media platforms. Our core focus is on driving fandoms and scaling niches and communities, with a diverse pipeline of archive, original and creator‑led content. In this team you will be at the forefront of innovation, creativity and digital excellence, working across the worldclass digital channels for iconic global brands and content.
- Communications, Events and Creative: Communications sits at the heart of BBC Studios, working with every part of the business to develop, shape and share the story of our organisation and its success, while defending the reputation of the BBC against dis‑ and mis‑information. With access to executives and their teams, our job is to interpret the vision of our stakeholders and help external and internal audiences understand what they are trying to achieve.
- Commercial Partnerships: The team manages strategic partnerships with key digital and social platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, as well as other emerging platforms. We ensure BBC Studios digital brands‑such as Doctor Who, BBC Earth, Bluey, and Top Gear–grow organically, drive revenue, and engage fandoms in innovative ways. We achieve this by securing strong partnership terms, leveraging platform expertise, and unlocking creative collaborations, all while upholding the BBC’s high standards across competitive digital spaces.
- Audience Growth and Performance: The Audience Growth team focuses on growing and engaging our fanbase across all digital platforms. We use data to find new ways to reach people, test what works, and turn fans into customers—helping build strong, loyal communities around our brands and content.
- Bluey Digital Team: The Bluey digital team play a key role in the overarching Brands and Licensing Divisional goal to maximise Bluey to deliver long‑term sustainable value. The team’s remit is to increase Bluey’s global fanbase, convert engagement into addressable audiences and convert these audiences into customers.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
As a Multi‑Channel Marketer (MCM26) apprentice, this is brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute – you will:
- Work with a BBC team to develop and deliver campaigns relevant to that team
- Contribute to the creation of brilliant content which will helps audiences engage with the BBC
- Potentially analyse performance data to see what’s working, and help improve future campaigns
- Support the team with scheduling and deliveries of campaigns, ensuring they are kept on track
- Learn tools, techniques and strategies that contribute to world class marketing!
You’ll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means you’ll spend at least one day a week studying for a Level 3 Multi‑Channel Marketer apprenticeship with our learning provider, using its virtual delivery platform.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must:
- Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship
- Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship
- Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme, whether with the BBC or another organisation
To apply for this scheme, you must also:
- Not already hold a qualification in the same subject area (Marketing) at the same or a higher level than this apprenticeship. If you have a Marketing degree (the equivalent of Level 6), or a Marketing qualification at or above Level 3, you are not eligible for this role.
- For candidates under the age of 19 years at the start of the apprenticeship: To complete the apprenticeship, you must have achieved maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or National 5 (Scotland) at C or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent qualification. If you have not achieved these qualifications by the start of your apprenticeship, you will be required to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 before the end of your apprenticeship when you take your end‑point assessment.
