About the Role
Wavenet is a technology-driven company committed to innovation and excellence. We\'re excited to offer two fantastic apprenticeship opportunities for individuals looking to build a rewarding career in IT while making a real difference in the NHS.

As a Deskside Apprentice, you\'ll be embedded on-site with our NHS client (CNWL), gaining hands-on experience supporting a wide range of IT systems and users. Over the course of the 2-year program, you\'ll rotate between two key areas: Deskside Field Support and End User Device Management (EUDM) – giving you broad exposure and real-world experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate every 6 months between Deskside Support and EUDM Proactive Management
  • Manage and resolve IT service tickets, ensuring timely completion within SLA
  • Troubleshoot and provide support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns, including phishing simulations
  • Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration records
  • Collaborate with onsite and remote technical teams
  • Contribute to policy development and IT improvement initiatives
  • Engage with NHS users to deliver exceptional frontline IT support

Qualifications

Entry Requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 3+ (D or above)
  • Equivalent international qualifications must be formally recognized in the UK
