Paid Marketing Manager

We are seeking a Paid Marketing Manager to own and scale our paid marketing across the full funnel, from demand generation and awareness through to conversion. This is an ownership role, not an execution seat. You will set the paid strategy, build our demand-gen motion across paid channels such as YouTube and paid social/video, and scale it with quality, while driving efficient conversion across Google, Microsoft (Bing), LinkedIn, Meta, and other performance channels. We expect you to bring a point of view, make the call on where budget goes across the funnel, and move the needle on growth and pipeline, not just maintain existing campaigns. Deep SaaS performance marketing experience is required.

This role is full-time and remote.

Channel scope: You will own paid across the full SaaS stack, including Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, product and review-site listings, and any other paid platform that earns its place. We expect you to decide which channels deserve budget, not run all of them by default.

What you will do

Own the paid strategy: Define how paid drives both demand generation and conversion. Set the plan, decide where budget goes across the funnel, and own the outcomes: growth, pipeline, ROI, and CPL.

Build and scale demand gen: Stand up and grow our paid awareness motion across paid video and paid social, including YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Meta, and LinkedIn. Create demand at the top of the funnel and connect it to conversion, rather than running them in isolation.

Drive conversion performance: Own efficiency across Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and review-site or marketplace placements such as G2 and Capterra. Improve CPL and ROI while protecting lead quality.

Own budget and forecasting: Build the paid budget from the ground up. Define budget requirements, forecast spend and returns, and run month-to-month planning so spend is predictable and tied to targets.

Set and own KPIs across the funnel: Define the metrics that matter at each stage, from awareness through to conversion, and hold the team and yourself to them.

Lead measurement: Use GA4, GTM, and other analytics tools to set targets, read performance honestly, and decide what to scale or cut. Turn data into decisions, not just reports.

Experiment with rigor: Run a disciplined testing roadmap with clear hypotheses and a defined bar for what "working" means.

Drive cross-team work: Partner with design, content, product, and the existing paid team to ship strong creative and pages on time. Set the brief, hold the quality bar, and keep work moving across teams.

Raise the standard of paid execution: Bring structure and standards to the existing paid setup and the team supporting it.

What are you like

A builder, not just an operator. You have stood up or meaningfully scaled paid programs, not only optimized campaigns handed to you.

5+ years of hands-on experience in paid marketing, with real ownership of strategy and budget.

SaaS paid marketing experience is required. Experience with a PLG model is a strong plus.

Strong across both demand gen and awareness (paid video, paid social) and conversion (search). You can move between brand-building and performance.

Proficient at budget management and planning. You can build a budget, forecast spend and returns, plan month to month, and defend the numbers.

Deeply analytical. You set targets, measure honestly, and make decisions from data. GA4 and GTM fluency assumed.

Strong opinions, loosely held. You bring a point of view and make calls, and you change course when the data says so.

Excellent written and verbal communication. You can defend a plan and a budget.

Comfortable owning outcomes and working without close supervision.

Experience with tools such as Clarity, VWO, and Ahrefs.

About SocialPilot

SocialPilot empowers over 12,000 agencies and SMBs to manage their social media publishing, analytics, and social engagement while collaborating with their team and clients.

We’re a high-growth bootstrapped B2B SaaS company with healthy profitability and a solid runway.

SocialPilot is nominated as one of the 5 startups across India for the prestigious Economic Times Startup Awards in the Bootstrap category.

Our impact so far

Helped 12,000+ marketing agencies and SMBs across the globe

5 billion+ social media posts published

One of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in India as listed by Inc 42

Ranked as a “Leader” consistently by G2, Capterra, SoftwareSuggest, and TrustRadius

Nominated as one of the 5 startups across India for the prestigious Economic Times Startup Awards in the Bootstrap category

Named as the Top 10 Bootstrapped Startups in India

Consistently ranked as a “Great Product” consistently by G2, Capterra, and TrustRadius

Officially a Great Place to WorkTM - Certified startup

Rated by YOUR STORY as the Number 1 social media scheduling tool

What we believe in

Customer Obsession: We put customers first while making decisions and planning future goals

Ownership: We believe in taking ownership of areas that we’re working on.
