<h2>Overview</h2> <p>DecisionPoint seeks a <strong>QA/Test Engineer (CMS)</strong> to support the design, testing, and validation of an enterprise Case Management System (CMS) serving Department of Defense mission stakeholders. The QA/Test Engineer ensures traceability from requirements through test execution and deployment validation, maintaining system quality, compliance, and user acceptance across Agile development cycles. </p> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate will bring expertise in <strong>automated testing, traceability, and validation across multiple environments (IL2–IL5)</strong>, with a focus on secure, high-availability applications. </p> <p> </p> <p>This position is fully remote. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Note:</strong> By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid. </p> <h2>Duties & Responsibilities</h2> <p>The <strong>QA/Test Engineer (CMS)</strong> will: </p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute <strong>test plans, test cases, and validation scripts</strong> ensuring full traceability from requirements through deployment. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain <strong>traceability matrices</strong> linking user stories, functional requirements, and test results to ensure compliance and coverage. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Implement <strong>automated test frameworks</strong> (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, JUnit) supporting regression, integration, and performance testing in Agile pipelines. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with developers and analysts to define <strong>acceptance criteria</strong> and establish reusable test scenarios within CI/CD environments. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support <strong>continuous integration and automated validation</strong> in AWS GovCloud through pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Execute <strong>functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing</strong> across multiple enclaves (IL2–IL5). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Validate <strong>data integrity, access controls, and security compliance</strong> across environments during release validation. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Record, track, and report <strong>defects and test results</strong> using defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with configuration management and development teams to ensure synchronized release readiness. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Provide <strong>deployment validation</strong> testing support and confirm successful system implementation post-release. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Contribute to process improvements through continuous service improvement (CSI) feedback loops and test automation refinements. </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Clearance Requirement:</strong> </p> <ul> <li> Must hold an active <strong>Secret clearance.</strong> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong>  </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Minimum <strong>5 years of experience</strong> in software testing, QA automation, or system validation for enterprise or defense systems. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience supporting <strong>Agile software development and CI/CD pipelines.</strong> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with <strong>requirements management, traceability, and test automation frameworks.</strong> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Knowledge:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>test automation tools</strong> (Selenium, Postman, Robot Framework, or equivalent). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of <strong>requirements traceability tools</strong> and defect management platforms (e.g., Jira, TestRail). </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience executing tests in <strong>AWS GovCloud</strong> or similar secure environments. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with <strong>DISA STIGs</strong>, RMF validation, and cybersecurity compliance testing. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>RESTful APIs</strong>, data validation, and database query testing (SQL). </li> </ul> <p><strong>Certifications (Preferred):</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Foundation Level. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>CompTIA Security+ CE or DoD 8570-compliant certification. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills:</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Excellent analytical, documentation, and organizational skills. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong collaboration with developers, PMO, and cybersecurity teams. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to translate business requirements into executable test scripts. </li> </ul> <h2>Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy</h2> <ul> <li><strong>EEO and Affirmative Action Policy:</strong> DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
