The role involves demand forecasting, identifying business risks and opportunities, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations to improve operational and commercial outcomes. Responsibilities Own forecasting and demand planning across e-commerce channels using historical sales data, promotional calendars, seasonality, inventory trends, and marketplace dynamics Continuously improve forecast accuracy and identify risks related to inventory health, out-of-stocks, excess inventory, and promotional timing Partner closely with supply chain, operations, and sales teams to align forecasts with inventory planning and operational execution Monitor demand fluctuations and proactively recommend corrective actions or adjustments Analyze SKU, channel, and promotional performance to identify growth opportunities and operational risks Monitor key profitability drivers including COGS, freight, marketplace fees, returns, advertising investments, and promotional performance Evaluate pricing and promotional effectiveness to balance competitiveness, revenue growth, and margin performance Translate analytical findings into operational and commercial recommendations that improve business outcomes Support performance analysis across Amazon, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, and other e-commerce platforms Monitor marketplace trends, customer behavior, competitive activity, and channel performance metrics Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, conversion, profitability, and operational execution across marketplaces Partner with marketing and e-commerce leadership to evaluate advertising performance and promotional effectiveness Build and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and forecasting models that improve business visibility and decision-making Deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Simplify complex data into practical business recommendations that drive execution and accountability Identify root causes behind performance changes and recommend corrective actions Partner strategically with marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to improve forecasting accuracy and overall business performance Support cross-functional planning initiatives and operational decision-making through data-driven insights Operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, demand planning, forecasting, business analytics, or related commercial roles Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills including forecasting, scenario modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis Ability to identify trends, solve problems independently, and translate data into actionable business recommendations Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decisions across technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong understanding of marketplace business dynamics, including CPG or online retail environments Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities and ambiguity Experience working with forecasting, inventory planning, pricing analysis, or profitability analysis strongly preferred Experience with Python, SQL, and BI tools for reporting automation, forecasting support, workflow optimization, and data analysis is highly valued Experience with Amazon, Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, retail media platforms, or other e-commerce environments is strongly preferred, but candidates with strong analytical, forecasting, or business intelligence backgrounds from adjacent industries are also encouraged to apply Benefits Bonus Benefits Company Overview La Tourangelle has been cultivating the art of oil making since 1867.
