[Remote] Software Engineer

In this role, you will build and maintain their internal annotation and data collection platform while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the quality and efficiency of AI training processes. Responsibilities Build and maintain Vetto’s internal annotation and data collection platform Create reusable components that work across multiple AI training intents Design and implement data pipelines, workflow automations, and quality monitoring systems Collaborate closely with PMs, researchers, and Intent Leads to ship fast Build observability and tooling to track data quality across the entire pipeline Prototype and evaluate new tools and frameworks as the team’s needs evolve Help define engineering standards and architectural decisions as the team scales Skills Strong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, system design, clean code) Full-stack engineering experience across backend and frontend, with comfort working in multiple languages and frameworks — whether that's Python, Node.js or TypeScript/React and similar modern tools on the client side Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases Comfortable in fast-paced, iterative environments where requirements evolve quickly Experience with AI/ML tooling (LLMs, embeddings, evaluation frameworks) Experience building internal platforms, annotation tools, or data pipelines Familiarity with infrastructure and DevOps practices Experience at an early-stage startup Benefits PJ contract with competitive compensation.
