Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the system architecture solutions align with business objectives.<br><br><strong>Your Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong>As a Manager in Technology Business Analysis, you will manage and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects with a focus on risk management. Your responsibilities will include continuous process improvement, innovation, and leveraging best practices. You will oversee professional employees or supervise teams to achieve complex technical initiatives. Expect to maintain billable client charging, lead delivery streams, manage projects, and engage with external clients daily. Travel may be required based on client needs.<br><br><ul><li>Lead end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA Controlling solution delivery from Explore through Deploy.</li><li>Facilitate Fit‑to‑Standard workshops to define requirements and future‑state processes.</li><li>Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) solutions, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), internal orders, Universal Allocations, and period‑end close activities.</li><li>Leverage the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) to support controlling reporting and analytics.</li><li>Configure controlling organizational structures, including controlling areas, cost centers, and profit centers.</li><li>Enable allocation cycles, overhead costing, internal chargebacks, and settlements.</li><li>Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within Controlling.</li><li>Ensure end‑to‑end integration with logistics modules (MM, PP, IM, SD, TPM).</li><li>Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.</li><li>Lead testing cycles (SIT/UAT) to ensure high‑quality, compliant deliverables.</li><li>Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation of controlling data.</li><li>Drive cutover planning, go‑live, and hypercare support.</li><li>Provide best‑practice guidance, continuous improvement recommendations, and mentor team members.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills And Attributes For Success<br><br></strong>To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in managing processes and solutions with an emphasis on quality and risk management. Your ability to engage in research and apply best practices will be key to driving innovation.<br><br><ul><li>Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Cost Center Accounting (CCA) solutions across the project lifecycle (Explore through Deploy).</li><li>Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops to gather business requirements and define target-state processes.</li><li>Design, configure, and implement CCA solutions in S/4HANA, including controlling structures (controlling areas, cost centers, hierarchies, and reporting).</li><li>Configure and manage Universal Allocation cycles (assessments and distributions).</li><li>Enable managerial accounting processes and drive planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities.</li><li>Perform and support plan vs. actual analysis and cost management reporting.</li><li>Integrate CCA with Profitability Analysis (CO-PA / Margin Analysis) and broader Controlling processes.</li><li>Leverage Universal Journal (ACDOCA) to deliver real-time reporting and analytics.</li><li>Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules (MM, PP, IM, SD).</li><li>Translate business requirements into functional designs and system configurations.</li><li>Lead SIT/UAT cycles to ensure solution quality and data integrity.</li><li>Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities for controlling data.</li><li>Drive cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live (hypercare) support.</li><li>Provide best practice guidance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.</li><li>Mentor team members and contribute to capability development.<br><br></li></ul><strong>To qualify for the role, you must have<br><br></strong><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in a related field.</li><li>Typically, no less than 4 to 6 years of SAP experience with deep expertise in Cost Center Accounting (CCA).</li><li>Proven SAP S/4HANA implementation experience, including at least one full lifecycle project.</li><li>Hands-on experience with:</li><ul><li>Controlling organizational design (controlling areas, cost centers, hierarchies).</li><li>Universal Allocation (assessments and distributions).</li><li>Managerial accounting, reporting, and cost control.</li><li>Plan vs. actual analysis and financial performance management.</li><li>Profitability Analysis (CO-PA / Margin Analysis).</li></ul><li>Experience leading Explore through Deploy phases of transformation programs.</li><li>Strong understanding of end-to-end Controlling processes and cross-module integration.</li><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.</li><li>A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Ideally, you’ll also have<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience working in a consulting environment, partnering with clients on complex, transformation‑focused initiatives.</li><li>SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling certification.</li><li>Experience with large-scale ERP transformations or global program rollouts.</li><li>Familiarity with SAP Activate and Agile delivery methodologies.</li><li>Industry experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Products, or Industrial sectors.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Look For<br><br></strong>We are seeking top performers who demonstrate a blend of analytical prowess and creative thinking. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
