Scrum Master - Connect & MS Apps

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Scrum Master - Connect & MS Apps join our team based in London with flexible working.The salary on offer is from £65,000 with eligibility for our annual 10% bonus.  (18 month FTC)

About the role:

The Scrum Master role is critical in facilitating and enabling successful delivery of teams within the Digital & Data function. With strong inter-personal skills, they will support the delivery teams in self-organisation, fostering a culture of accountability to each other and enabling an open and honest communication practice. Through the facilitation of Scrum events, this role drives a transparency in what is being delivered and by who, supporting the removal of blockers for the teams. The role is part of the Digital & Data function and reports to the Product Manager. What you will bring to the role:

  • Lead and facilitate the different Scrum events.
  • Coaching team and Product Owners on how to break product down to release value more frequently.
  • Forge strong internal relationships to ensure the goals/ objectives are clearly communicated, understood, and executed.
  • Coach teams to be able to identify team risks, issues, and dependencies and how to seek resolution before escalation.
  • Support the team as a servant leader whenever possible and lead by example.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure team goals aligned.
  • Help the team to self-organise and get the most out of their combined skills.
  • Challenge existing practices and lead continuous improvement in delivery standards and processes.
  • Have a technical, analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Play an active part in the wider scrum and agile community within the organisation to support NHSPS in its adoption of new ways of working
