Job Title Senior BI Analyst Job Description Summary Job Description About The Role: BI Solution Development: a. Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI b. Collaborate with the Transformation and Broker Market Support Shared Services Team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. c. Stay up to date with the latest PowerBI features, best practices, and industry trends and incorporate them into the development and maintenance process. BI Development Efforts: a. Lead design and development of data models, ETL processes, and data visualization components. b. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create data models for reporting and analysis. c. Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Data Analysis and Insights: a. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decision making. b. Work with the Transformation Team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop meaningful metrics and visualizations. c. Develop ad-hoc queries and reports to support business users' data analysis needs. Data Management and Governance: a. Establish and enforce data management best practices, including data quality, data integration, and data governance. b. Design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. c. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Team Collaboration: a. Collaborate with the Transformation and Broker Market Support Shared Services Team to understand BI needs, collect requirements, and design effective solutions b. Deploy solutions using an agile project management methodology About You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer or in a similar role, with a strong track record in designing and developing BI solutions. Experience in data management, including data modeling, ETL processes, and database administration. Strong proficiency in data visualization principles, with the ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights. Advanced expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Proficient in SQL with solid experience working with relational databases. Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the transformation team members and other stakeholders. Self-driven and proactive, capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to manage through ambiguity where lines of ownership aren't always clear Microsoft certifications in Power BI Data Analytics or Power Platform are highly desirable.
