Supply Chain Assistant Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Supply Chain Assistant Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production planning. Your expertise will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance through strategic process improvements and data-driven decision-making.

Duties

  • Manage and coordinate procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of materials and services aligned with production schedules.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and other supply chain management tools to monitor inventory levels, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
  • Analyze supply chain data using Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and develop actionable insights for process optimization.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives employing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.
  • Oversee logistics operations including transportation planning, warehouse management, and inventory control to ensure seamless product flow.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for supply disruptions or quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams on production planning and demand forecasting to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
Experience
  • Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and related MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets using Tableau, Power BI, SQL or similar analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen practices, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Experience managing procurement processes including purchasing, inventory management, demand planning, and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environments with an understanding of production planning and logistics coordination.
