As Vice President, Marketing at Credit Karma, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the brand's identity.  This expansive role will oversee a mulit-disciplinary team including Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, and Product Research– all critical growth drivers across the business.  Through strategic leadership and innovative creative direction, this leader will drive the teams executing the overall brand and marketing strategy, creative vision, product insights, and product marketing initiatives to support Credit Karma’s growth objectives and revenue targets. Reporting directly to Credit Karma’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), this cross-functional leadership role requires high EQ and partnership across all Credit Karma functions, as well as leveraging and investing in the relationships with our Intuit companies. 

What you'll do:

  • Deeply understand our members’ needs and aspirations and develop strategies that place the member at the heart of every marketing endeavor, fostering lifelong advocacy
  • As Vice President, Marketing for an Intuit business unit, you will also leverage your experience at multi-tiered or subsidiary-structured organizations in order to partner successfully with stakeholders across Intuit
  • Develop brand strategy and integrated marketing campaigns with a consistent and cohesive brand identity, voice, and tone 
  • Oversee the development and execution of campaigns and promotions across all marketing channels: website, social media, email, and other digital channels
  • Lead the development of the brand strategy including brand health measurement, setting the brand positioning and narrative and overall leadership of how the brand will come to life in the ecosystem (with consumers, the industry, and alongside our suite of Intuit brands)
  • Identify opportunities to take smart risks and successfully maneuver great ideas forward to execution that deliver results and move the needle for the business
  • Be the leader of our marketing leaders 
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives

What we are looking for:

  • 12+ years marketing experience (primarily B2C focused) with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership, including content, digital, product marketing, and marketing analytics
  • 10+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders
  • 10+ years of experience building and leading diverse teams to create and deliver marketing-related solutions

  • Demonstrated extensive track record of successfully leading a multidisciplinary marketing team in a public company environment
  • Brand builder - fluent storyteller with experience in brand strategy and management, particularly within an integrated brand environment 
  • Ability to thrive in matrixed, multi-vertical companies, bringing out the best in teams across an organization  
  • Strategic mindset with a knack for transforming ideas into impactful marketing initiatives
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, customer segmentation, and data-driven decision making
  • Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with a creative flair to balance data with innovation
  • Proven commitment to developing and strengthening a company culture that is built on the values of diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Experience influencing and leading multiple distributed resources with an understanding of cultural differences in managing and leading people
