Wealth Planning Consultant, Senior Specialist-2

<p>As a Wealth Planning Consultant, Senior Specialist with Vanguard, you’ll be part of a team within the Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) division advising our ultra-high net worth clients and their families through their unique and complex investment journeys by providing them with advanced estate planning, income tax and financial planning analysis. You will be a trusted advisor, bringing education and world-class client experience to the client, playing an instrumental role in making sure the assets our clients have worked hard to accumulate benefit the people or organizations they care about the most.  </p><p>This role will be within the Advice and Wealth Management division assisting our ultra-high-net-worth clients with planning and strategy in the areas of income tax, advanced estate planning, and financial planning.</p><p><b>Core Responsibilities</b></p><p>1. Provide estate planning, income tax, and/or wealth planning consultations to the largest Vanguard advised clients.</p><p>2. Review client's information and relevant documentation, research client issues, perform analysis to provide suggested solutions, and create client deliverables. </p><p>3. Guide and develop other wealth and estate planning crew within advice offer to help them grow to the next level.</p><p>4. Partner with financial advisors as they support clients in these subject areas and follow Vanguard's investment methodology.</p><p>5. Align with wealth and estate planning crew who provide consultations to Vanguard's clients in other divisions to ensure services in all offers are similar in philosophy and design.</p><p>6. Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert on wealth planning topics. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and Vanguard's external publications.</p><p>7. Analyze internal systems and processes to identify opportunities to improve the client experience and mitigate risk.</p><p>8. Maintain a strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and departmental policies and procedures, as well as general market trends.</p><p>9. Support department and team initiatives.</p><p>10. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.</p><br><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree (JD, MBA, Master of Tax) or equivalent combination of education and experience required.</li><li>Minimum of eight years related work experience in a related field and four years of project management experience preferred.</li><li>Experience in financial services encouraged.</li><li>Active Law License, CFP, or CPA preferred, as well as other designations.</li></ul><br><p><b>Other Considerations</b></p><p><span></span></p><ul><li>Remote is available for candidates residing farther than 40 miles from our Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Malvern, PA, or Scottsdale, AZ offices. Those residing within 40 miles of these office locations will follow a hybrid three-day in office work schedule.</li><li>Travel will be required to Vanguard offices for training, offsites, or client meetings in other locations.
