Workshop Helper – Shop – Yard – Local Driver for Pick Up's

Looking for: Workshop Helper / Parts Cleaner (LOCAL IN HOUSTON TEXAS ) Will be working in the Manvel TX Office Workshop.

Must pass background and Homeland Security E-Verify.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean crane parts using solvent tanks and other cleaning equipment
  • Operate power tools such as grinders, die grinders, wire wheels, etc.
  • Assist with prepping and assembling parts and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, workshop, yard, parking lot, and work pads
  • Perform routine housekeeping duties including sweeping, trash removal, and debris cleanup
  • Rearrange and organize items in the yard/back pad area
  • Assist the Repairs Department as needed
  • Pick up vendor orders using company vehicles when required
  • Follow detailed instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors/managers
Requirements:
  • Must wear steel-toe boots
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required for driving company vehicles
  • A Must - be 25 years of age or older to operate company vehicles
Additional Information: When not picking up parts or vendor orders, the employee will assist in the workshop with various assignments including cleaning, organizing, yard maintenance, and general shop support.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Overtime required as needed
