The Senior Director sets vision, influences decisions, and drives scalable execution across a hybrid and regional operating model.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION </b></p><h2><span>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></h2><ul><li>Lead the enterprise strategy and operating model for affordable housing, further positioning it as an integrated, scalable business line in addition to an advisory and compliance.</li><li>Set vision and direction for operationalizing affordable housing requirements across processes, policies, contracts, and systems, ensuring consistent execution across regions.</li><li>Serve as a senior leader and strategist to executive, regional, and functional stakeholders, influencing decisions related to affordable housing operations, risk, growth, and investments.</li><li>Oversee development, enhancement, and governance of affordable housing policies, SOPs, and manuals, ensuring consistency, practicality, and regulatory alignment across the portfolio.</li><li>Expand and enhance Salesforce as the enterprise source of truth for affordable housing programs and requirements, including program data, third-party file reviews, compliance obligations, and reporting.</li><li>Partner with Systems Services and cross-functional teams to evaluate and define the affordable housing software stack, including required systems, modules, configurations, and integrations.</li><li>Drive implementation and adoption of tools, processes, and standards through effective change management, focusing on execution and accountability.</li><li>Lead and influence a hybrid/regional affordable housing model, supervising and developing leaders as assigned while fostering collaboration and consistent standards across regions.</li><li>Provide strategic oversight of third-party compliance vendors, external partners, and industry relationships.</li><li>Support acquisition due diligence, portfolio integration, and organizational readiness for future growth and M&A activity.</li></ul><p></p><h2>BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; advanced degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in affordable housing, including enterprise-level or multi-regional leadership responsibilities.</li><li>Proven experience leading strategic initiatives, operational transformation, or cross-functional programs at scale.</li><li>Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive results across matrixed organizations.</li><li>Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and operational implications within affordable housing programs.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and manage organizational change.</li></ul><p></p><h2>SPECIALIZED SKILLS:</h2><ul><li>Extensive knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, PHA, and other affordable housing programs and regulations.</li><li>Experience operationalizing regulatory requirements into repeatable processes, systems, and governance models.</li><li>Strong familiarity with affordable housing property management systems (e.g., Yardi) and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce.</li><li>Ability to evaluate and optimize affordable housing technology solutions and vendor offerings.</li><li>Highly effective communicator, strategic thinker, and problem solver.</li><li>Certifications such as COS, C3P, SCHM, or similar designations preferred.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</h2><ul><li>Team members work in an office or remote work environment.
